Instant progress.
Great tools here that are immediately usable.
Great place to start with pop accompaniment styles.
I did this course after the intermediate/advanced level which I’m still working on bringing it up to speed. I am confident on this as it’s about the level I am after years of self teaching. But it was great to go through it with Jonny, he’s such a great professional and there’s always so much to learn here.
Love the names!
Naming the accompaniment methods is brilliant. I was doing some of these already but naming them helps me remember them better and also remember to not just use one pattern when playing a song. I used these in my band's concert the other night and it made the song I was playing much more fun!
Challenging but inspiring
As a beginner, this is what I'm looking for. The right-hand patterns weren't too hard to master, but despite hours practicing, I'm still 'sloppy' when pairing them with several of the left -hand patterns. My mind struggling to wrap around mixing them up without everything falling apart. Finger memory coming along, just not wholly there yet. These will be daily practices as I move on to another lesson course. I'm sure I'll get there in time.
it is a lot of fun.
it takes us step by step. The right-hand patterns first then the left-hand patterns alone then the two hands together
