Dominant 7th Chord Rootless Voicings
Another slam dunk. The entire rootless 7th chord lineup has been great. Love the example pieces, demonstrating the concepts. John has broken down each course into manageable sections, which has facilitated learning.
Great thorough exercises and really cool little tunes to work on
John is a great teacher. Everything is broken down and built back up. Some great tips and opportunities to try improvising
Another useful step
Continuing the rootless voicing journey with a great teacher. This is the logical next step. Together with the major and minor 7th courses and the two types of voicings the material may seem overwhelming, so I found it very useful to repeat the main exercises from the two previous courses prior to starting each lesson of this one.
Very thorough and challenging
Thank-you John for another enlightening and thorough tutorial. I found the dominant 13 chords to be challenging, but the approach you demonstrated facilitates the learning process. Your approach of how to learn these chords are part of my daily piano practice and warm-up routine. Thanks again!
