Got me to first time I really thought "God, I sound pretty good!"
I have been doing basic/intermediate for challenges until now. This time I took the extra challenge of advanced/intermediate. I took an extra couple of weeks to really get combined slides and rolls and a decent tempo, but it was worth it.
This is quite a challenge for a beginner but never boring.
The groove is powerful. The coordination of the hands is difficult at first but by counting the beats slowly, I managed to get it. It's rewarding. I had some success at 3/4 of the full speed.
Fun course!
I enjoyed learning how to play the St. Louis Blues with Jonny. The lessons were clear and challenging enough to keep me on my toes…and my fingertips. ;)
ON A CROISSANT (Roll, if you will)!!!
Excellent arrangement for incorporating rolls in my playing.
Super fun tune
Learned some great ways to jazz up a blues song.
