Great Lesson in Arranging/Performance by a Great Teacher!
This is the third time Jonny has captured my imagination with one of his arrangements! The first one (Happy Birthday in 7 Styles) is the one that made me join PWJ. There is a lot for me to unpack in this lesson; it is deliciously dense! He characterizes it as an "Arranger Lesson" and I'm beginning to believe that it just might be possible for me to learn to arrange a few tunes myself! In this lesson, you spend a couple of hours with a master arranger who shares so many of his arranging secrets! Very inspiring, thank you!
Challenging and Entrancing
Breath taking song that everyone loves. Great arranging techniques that can be applied to other stride waltzes. Well worth the time to get the techniques into your fingers.
Gorgeous Viennese Waltz!!!
I love this beautiful arrangement of "Once Upon A Dream" but in my opinion it sounds more like a Viennese Waltz and not like a true jazz waltz.
