Suprisingly easy
I am surprised how quick I was able to learn all the dominant 7th chords due to the fact that the previous course (major 7th chords) took almost forever...
Took me to the next level with dominant sevenths!
As someone who has years of classical piano lessons under my belt, I appreciated how these exercises took me to a whole new level of understanding and playing dominant 7ths. The biggest challenge/accomplishment for me was playing them "backwards" (broken chords, starting with the 7th of each chord and going down). It really forced me to think about each dominant 7th chord in a new light, and thus gave me a fuller understanding of the chords. I also found the V-I exercises very helpful. Thank you for another great course!
Much fun but also a lot of practice
I took me many days to get the dominant 7th chord completely in to my memory so that I can play them by heart
Fun for the fingers
Even if you know how to play all of your 7th chords, the exercises are excellent for dexterity, fluency and making sure you know the chords inside out and back to front, straight or swung, broken and block. I found this a lot of fun and at times a little tricky, but so beneficial and satisfying to play.
Challenging
Liked this dominant 7 course but challenging when you look at all the ways to test your skill.
