Beginner/Intermediate Live Workshop (8/3/20)

In this workshop, you will learn everything you need to know about modulation! We'll discuss when, why, and how to modulate a tune. We'll learn 4 common modulations, including half-step, whole-step, minor 3rd, and 4th. Then Jonny will demonstrate 6 essential techniques for modulating. 

Bossa Nova Collaboration – August 2020

Learn the most important scale for improv over almost any song or style, the Major Blues Scale (Gospel Scale). We'll cover essential exercises to master speed, how to finger the scale in all 12 keys, how to use the scale over multiple styles, and how to improvise a solo using techniques like harmonized slides, turns, & rolls.
