Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!!
I joined PWJ 07/223/24, so just 3 months ago and have enjoyed it so much. I have learned more from you guys in that time than i did with a teacher for a year. That is really true.
Thank you again,
Wanda Machado
Lots of great tips and information!
I never realized that there were so many different scales out there! Very interesting to find 7- and 9-note scales. I'm not quite ready for improv myself, but John's samples help me understand what I can do to build up to that level. Great lesson/challenge!
Deconstructing a classic!
Great (and surprisingly "easy") study of the Gershwin classic. I loved the meat and potatoes; was challenged by the soloing tips.
Amazing course
Beautiful chords, great content, and excellent explanation. Thank you John Proulx, I enjoyed the course.
A great way to learn!
This is the first Challenge I've worked on and completed. The Challenge format is a terrific way to learn. It was a joy to work on this beautiful piece of music, and learned so much from the systematic approach of taking the learner through overall structure of the piece, techniques to express the underlying harmony in the bass via root + guide tones, followed by learning techniques for enriching the melody line, and the module showing the learner how a solo can be conceived realized. I'll be polishing my performance with daily practice over the next week or two, but WOW, I've learned ALOT! Many thanks to Piano With Jonny for the approach, and special thanks to John Proulx to his wonderful guidance through the learning process.!
