Introduction to the keyboard - approachable and pithy
The course had a lot of different elements covered with the different lessons; I got through the lessons quite quickly and can now go back to practise the exercises and pieces.
I finally feel like I’m breaking free
I’ve spent the last 2 years on a different piano app. It was brilliant, but I felt locked into just reading music and playing from sheets. This beginner course was relatively easy for me but what was challenging was just grooving along as I’ve never really done much improvisation before. There was also some new learnings and filling in some gaps and twinkle twinkle was still challenging and needs time to make it sound smooth! Excited to practice everything on the smart sheets before diving into the next course
Twinkle took a long time for me to get to 120 bpm
Ahhhhhh
Good for beginners but also reminders for those returning to the piano
I learned the piano as a child (I’m 65 now) in a musical family. I was the one without the “natural flair” so got a little ignored developmentally, so even though I can read music and play to a reasonable standard Ive always felt I had something missing from my playing so I went through the course to ensure I start off on the best foot.
Nice mix of learnings and activities
I liked playing the songs in different styles
