Annoyingly challenging
This course was great. I started at the very beginning even though I have played piano before and am fairly good at playing classical music . However I have never been taught jazz or chord progressions or even how to memorise. I can barely pick out a tune by ear so I wanted a proper foundation. I can skip through the exercises but apart from that everything has actually been quite a challenge. I can see where these courses are heading and so I am really excited that maybe, just maybe, I will achieve my goals of playing jazz and cocktail and being able to improvise . It may be a few more days before I pluck up courage and share a video though !
Music Miracle
I am actually reading music!!
Exciting and positive
Very clear, motivate to continue the development of the learning and practicing. Very happy with this start!!
Great if you're truly a beginner, but a bit boring if you have some music experience
Everything is well explained. Exercises are good technique builders.
Best Decision Ever
This course put all the dots together and though I thought I was a bit too advanced for this course, I couldn't have been any more wrong, for one it took me a lot longer to master the content within the course than I first imagined but when I played that last song twinkle twinkle and read the notes and grooved along with the track, I felt the feeling of fulfillment that I was longing for when I picked up that book all those years ago and purchased a piano. Jonny really does have the perfect balance between theory, exercises, practice, practicality and fun!
