This course will help you master Heart & Soul at the beginner level.

First we’ll learn the right hand melody and left hand chord shells. Next we’ll embellish the melody with harmony notes and learn a pre-written solo. Finally, we’ll put the hands together and play a beautiful final arrangement!

Simple Pro Sounding Step-by-Step Standard with Easily Achievable Soloing Option
I love the way John has divided the monthly challenges into Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. The Beginner Level utilizes simple, yet pro sounding tools that are repeated in other Beginner Level Challenges until the concepts sink in. They are then easily applied to other songs. John takes the fear out of soloing with a basic scale applied to the song's chord progression already learned. Nothing is left to the imagination except the enthusiastic reception and applause from any audience which is sure to come once the challenge is completed.
