Challenging Course.
The right hand harmonies and left hand 2-feel are worth the effort to learn.
Fly me to the moon challenge--intermediate
Again, a good course. Learned chord pops and enjoyed playing the piece, as written,
Way To Go!
Another Slam Dunk, continuing with Fly Me To The Moon. Organized step-step, interactive instruction progressing from right hand development...hands together...solo techniques...jazzy, great sounding solo. Solo is totally playable with techniques you can use and apply to any piece. Once again, John shows us how to transit from playing the tune off the lead sheet to a great sounding solo with lush harmonies and moving rhythms. Play it at a snail's pace initially, increasing the tempo with familiarity, and you'll own it. And, you'll have an arsenal of techniques to apply to other tunes. Pacing throughout course was also great. Never felt rushed or left behind while playing along. Thanks, John. Brian
another fantastic lesson
very clear analysis of the structure of the tune and its embellishments. John is really a masterful teacher
I have a lot of fun and many ideas how to practice
Examples for solo encourage me to try first steps in improvisation
