In this course, we’ll be learning and deconstructing Chopin’s Prelude in E Minor.

We’ll go phrase by phrase and learn the notes, fingering, and pedaling. We’ll also explore the dynamics, articulations, and mood. Finally, we’ll dig deep into what makes the melody interesting, how the harmony was created, and we’ll look at other pieces that use similar compositional forms.

Life changing
I called my husband who is a composer and classical guitarist to share with him that I was having a hard time getting through this lesson because I was weeping so much. He congratulated me and said now put on your diving mask and get back in there. And added that I just had the experience of playing with Chopin the same notes he did and with the same intention of feeling that he had. I can't thank you enough for guiding us through this lesson with the technical information as well as the composer's intention I've long loved this piece of music but I've never had an experience like this before.
