Excellent course
Beautiful material, amazing explanation. Jonny May, Thank you very much.
In love with the love progression.
Takes time, patience and effort to master the almost semi classical style of the contemporary progressions here, but solid lessons for fundamental piano techniques including finger strength and muscle memory and score reading. The music’s beautiful and relatively easy to improvise over. Recorded 2015 so the quality and presentation a bit different to PWJ these days.
"You can do a lot with a little!"
The title is a quote from Jonny during the course. Definitely it's a must-know course specially to play pop and use it in some settings like worship, for instance. This course will change completely your playing and give you the first steps on improvisation. Go for it!
Simple Secrets Revealed
Just as professional baseball players return to the basics each year for Spring training, Jonny takes you through the basics of improvising which you can return to for improvising on any chord progression. The Love Progression is reminiscent of the song "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" from The Lion King. Someone wrote that song going back to the basics, creating a universally loved song, and a lot of money. The next hit song could be any one of ours. Thank you, Jonny!
Excellent!!
Full of excellent tips and techniques: now to put them to practice!
