Carousel to Music Box
This course surprised me with how different the first version of the song sounded compared to the final accompaniment. When I started learning, I thought it sounded more like a carousel than a lullaby, but after learning the accompaniment version of the song, I look forward to practicing this tune in all its variations.
Fun and learned a lot
All good
Another extremely useful course.
In a remarkably short period of time with PWJ I find that I am now equipped to sit down in front of a lead sheet for a pop song and actually make something of it, and even more importantly, I am developing the ability to devise accompaniments sort of on the spot by using the common chord progressions as presented in these lessons. These progressions, incidentally, sound great by themselves, almost like they're an actual song--something one could play as background music. Another extremely useful course at PWJ.
Key of G
I am actually am an intermediate player, but after taking several classes, I decided I wanted to see what I was missing in the beginner classes. So, I’ve taken them from the beginning and I’ve learned things I didn’t know or practice before so it’s been very worthwhile. Great class, again. Thank you.
Well organized steps
Reinforcing the power of inversions
