Great course!
Excellent explanation of chords progressions and inversions. Fun and satisfying to play.
Thorough and Fun!
Great Song In The Country. A technique called playing with slip notes. Real country Floyd Cramer Style. So worth it all!!!
Fun Country Tune
Excellent introduction to 6/8 time signature with a fun country tune to learn.
secrets revealed!
Being shackled to the written music has suppressed my creativity. I learned several tricks, such as, how to find the key of a song based on the last note written in the key signature. I also gained an understanding of how to explore chord progressions and left hand creativity with a few bass patterns. In the end, I realized that the magical Floyd Kramer sound can be captured in simple, elegant, and predictable harmonies. I can play the written music; Now I can explore ways to implement that beautiful improv that’s been trapped inside my head.
