Country
Enjoyed diving deeper into the diatonic chords in E and learning a new technique per country style.
Easy Country
great detail
That was a stretch
Easy slow melody but the stretch between my index & pinky was huge🤪. You always get me with something!👌
Exploring a new technique helps make some basic learning more interesting
Basic key and scale work has a reputation for being a slog, especially when the sharps or flats start piling up and it's like the 8th time studying a major key. But I loved the slip note technique thrown in to make it more interesting. I grew up hearing the Floyd Cramer sound on piano. It is very interesting to learn first hand that a "magical sound" is often just a basic technique executed masterfully. I ended up spending extra time going through the latter lessons to try and develop my own version of that sound.
Well structured Course
This is my first course on PwJ and it is what I have been looking for in that it is well structured and develops the understanding and application in a useful and fun way.
