Another good and necessary course.
Consistent Method
Scale, chords, chord progression, song application
Challenging concepts made simple
Daine does a fabulous job of explaining compound rhythm, the difference between a beat and a pulse, and breaking down a mostly black note key (Db) to create a jazzy ballad feel. Lots of great tips for applying inversions, and LH patterns in varying accompaniment style as well.
Enjoyable
Especially enjoyed the different accompaniments and suggestions for developing these.
A fun packed challenge buster!
Getting into compound 12/8 timing, voicings using the black keys and the Red Garland feel. As always, a huge amount of stuff packed into the lesson. Truly awesome stuff.
