The most saatisfying key to date?
In 2026 I decided that I would work my way through the major and minor scales for all 12 keys. I'm not doing them quite in the Johnny May order. For example, after completing the C major scale I completed the C minor scale. The B flat minor course was challenging: both in the tune and Groove 2 and 3. Tricky to get the syncopation correct (at least to begin with) and the Tune also has a tricky bar 4. But the more challenging the material, the greater the satisfaction in completing it. As always, the key (so to speak) was to decrease the speed to a tempo where the piece?groves can be played and then slowly increase the speed. Back that up with playing along to Daine. A very satisfying key. 8-)
Fun and challenging
Nice grooves. It makes you dance with the groove.

Funky Time and the grooves were fun to learn. I switched to wider stride patterns (and use Eb7 instead of Eb for the heck of it). I continue to struggle a bit with syncopated rhythms, but Daine made this groove easier to learn. Thanks Daine! Thanks PWJ.
