Finished my first PWJ course
Great course! I had a blast (mostly) with this first lesson. I loved the step-by-step layered structure. I found that immensely helpful. However, I was shocked at how difficult time I had of it when trying to keep up with the backing track. This looks simple, but I found it was not. I had to go very slow, measure by measure, trying my best not to go too fast. Sometimes it was a struggle; I was impatient. But, I realized (again) that old adage that you have to walk before you can run. And, interestingly, the slower and more mindful I went, the more quickly I could increase my speed. So, to go fast, you have to go slow. Go figure! So I'll keep trying to do that.
challenging and many new things!
really enjoyed it! the way you smoothly built up layers that made me feel comofrtable and at the same time challenged!
New scale new challenge
Every scale has a new skill to master. Fun and challenging. Fingers are always learning new things.
Very satisfied
This was my very first course at Piano With Jonny, and Im very satisfied. I really want to improve my playing.
Fun and challenging
Yes, challenging. It looks like an easy groove, but really I had to repeat many, many times the right hand to get the slide notes in place and being able to play it with the left hand. I am surprised how I had to work on it. The left hand was easy for me. At least, I am at ease with my 5th chords.
