Well organized and fun!
This is quite challenging for me. However, the way the lessons are layered is extremely helpful. I’m still having trouble playing with the backtracking but I plan to keep at it, Great lessons! Thank you!
Great course with some fun challenges
Enjoyed how this scale was illustrated using the different groove patterns and chord progressions! Great course!
Fabulous
I love how the course is structured. One step at a time. i learnt a new skill, how to slide the notes from the beginning of the course and its variations. I could play it well (in root position) but when it comes to Chord Inversions , its another ball-game. Had to go really slow to master it because it does help to transfer chords faster and smoother with minimum jumps. As this is my 1st course since joining PWJ, am excited to see what are ahead.
Fun!
I like it!
Fun and humbling experience
Great course! I had a blast (mostly) with this first lesson. I loved the step-by-step layered structure. I found that immensely helpful. However, I was shocked at how difficult time I had of it when trying to keep up with the backing track. This looks simple, but I found it was not. I had to go very slow, measure by measure, trying my best not to go too fast. Sometimes it was a struggle; I was impatient. But, I realized (again) that old adage that you have to walk before you can run. And, interestingly, the slower and more mindful I went, the more quickly I could increase my speed. So, to go fast, you have to go slow. Go figure! So I'll keep trying to do that.
