Challenging but ultimately doable, but always fun.
Jonny says that this piece is "pretty challenging". I initially found playing the hands together very challenging. How do I overcome these difficulties? By following Johnny's advice and slowing the tempo down to one where I could master each stage. Sometimes this was as slow as 60 BPM, mostly 80 BPM. Then once the stage was under my fingers at the slower speeds it was time to work on bringing them up to tempo. What seemed challenging eventually became... well, not commonplace. But something that I can play, particularly at a slightly lower tempo than 120 BPM. Best of all? As usual it's playing the whole piece alongside Johnny.
Just what I needed!
I'm back on the piano journey! I've been "stuck" for a while. Becoming a member was just what I needed!
fun to learn. Demo's critical in this
demos made this work....hard to figure out the rhythm until Jonny played it at slow tempo.
Catchy and fun!
I really enjoyed how this course was both fun to play and learn!
