Please join us on Wednesday, March 15th at 10am PST for a live workshop! We’ll be learning about how to accompany in a band setting on the well-known standard, “Fly Me To The Moon”. We’ll also have a recorded melody track that you’ll be playing along with. The workshop will consist of 6 lessons covering the following topics:
1. Review the melody, chord changes. and chord progression
2. 2-hand open voicing 7th chords with rhythmic hits
3. 4-note Quartal voicings with extensions and alterations
4. Left-hand 4-note rootless voicings with right hand fills
5. Intros and endings
6. Final arrangement where we put it all together
We’ll open it up to questions after each lesson. Look forward to seeing you there!
