PianoWithJonny.com (PWJ) is an online piano education platform designed to help every student reach their full music potential. We provide video courses, sheet music, and live learning events for students who want to play jazz and popular styles of music. We are made up of a small and passionate team of piano enthusiasts.

Organizational Fit

You will work with founders, Jonny May and Yannick Lambrecht, and our team of editors, designers, and moderators to assist with tasks. Your primary report will be to Yannick, although Jonny will also be involved in the creative aspects of your job.

Job Title: Customer Service Support (~10 hrs / week)

We are seeking a customer service assistant who can provide friendly email tech support to current and prospective students at PWJ. You will develop a comprehensive understanding of our product catalogue and customer service policies. 

Customer Service Tasks include:

  • Email tech support for inquiries related to accounts (billing, trials, cancellations, refunds, upgrades, passwords, file delivery, etc.)
  • Helping members with website navigation and orientation questions
  • Informing prospective customers about what courses and services we offer
  • Monitoring the customer satisfaction levels and developing methods for increasing them

Qualifications

  • Excellent writing skills; attentive to detail
  • Comfortable using computers and learning basic software
  • Basic familiarity with the PWJ Course Library

Job Title: Community Manager (~10 hrs / week)

We are seeking an intermediate or higher level pianist who can help answer student questions in our Forum and Facebook Group. This position is for someone who would love to welcome, guide, and encourage students in our online communities.

Community Management tasks include:

  • Providing course recommendations to students
  • Answering general music and course questions in the Forum / Facebook / Email 
  • Responding to member welcome and suggestion posts in the forum and Facebook
  • Assisting with event announcements & reminders
  • Drafting social media & email content 

Qualifications

  • Intermediate+ level pianist
  • Broad knowledge of the PWJ course library
  • Great writing skills; attention to detail
  • Comfortable using computers and learning basic software

Job Title: Content Manager (~10-20 hrs / week)

We are seeking an intermediate level pianist who can assist with content production and publishing tasks. You do not need to be able to do all the tasks below to apply for this role, as tasks can be separated into individual projects.

Content Finalization & Publishing tasks include and are not limited to:

  • Adding chapter markers to videos 
  • Editing video captions (Closed Captioning in English)
  • Publishing course descriptions & learning objectives on courses 
  • Adding and editing titles on digital sheet music from PDF’s
  • Writing blog entries on Quick Tips (advanced)
