Memories - Raising a Glass to Key of G# Minor
Just a great, great course and a wonderful presentation of the material by Daine. All of the usual Foundational Elements, including, Scales, Harmonies, Inversions and so much more in terms of technique. I love the Application Tune and in this day and time of copyright mania, I couldn't help but notice a certain similarity to song about a famous Hotel in California. Well Done! I loved the 16th-note arpeggio work - as learning to play amazing "Grooves" has always been a hallmark of PWJ Foundations Courses. I'm getting excited as I approach the end of the Beginner Foundation Courses and look ahead to the Intermediate Foundation Courses. PWJ has created such a thorough and exciting way to become a complete pianist. Enjoying the journey!
Interesting.
The arpegio patterns are simple but it was a challenge to speed them up. Still some work to do.
Fun and supportive
I started this course a few months ago but "side-stepped" into Jonny's monthly challenges. Now that I made a comeback I appreciated more having fun with these chord progressions and arpeggios. Somee lessons take time to mature and sink in. At first I was like G# minor, what on Earth? But it was fun. Also cool to get to see the use of a double shapr diminished chord - first time ever for me.
