Thank you Jonny for this workshop! And - Yes! yes! more analysis just like this would be wonderful!! Using the V-I relationships to identify large sections of tonal centers of a song is amazingly powerful, I can see that I will now start to understand jazz standards in a whole new light. I have been avoiding practicing all my scales, all my 2-5-1 exercises etc, but seeing this material now lets me understand the reason I should "go back" and master all of those foundational skills!! I feel like someone telling me "hey kid, you wanna be able to do all this cool stuff? well now go back and work on those scales and progressions". I absolutely love this workshop, it is going to change the way I view all of the PWJ material!
